Onboarding a new customer

When a vendor onboards a new customer to their on-prem product built on Tensor9, the vendor will need to enable the customer to set up their appliance. To do this, an account executive uses the Tensor9 web UI to generate a one-liner setup script for the new customer. This takes less than a minute.

When the customer runs that setup script in the cloud providers cloud shell, the setup script downloads the tensor9 CLI, and uses Terraform to provision the appliance in their account. For a look at the customer's appliance setup experience, see Appliance setup (for customers).
